‍Souly, you are partly italian. Which italian cheese do you love the most?

S: I’d say Pecorino!

‍Anni, is Souly more an italian romantico or a german Liebhaber? 

A: (Laughs) An italian romantico through and through and that makes me feel like an Italian muse. hihi 

‍As cheese gang members you are partners in crime and love. Did you guys have any Bonny and Clyde moments and if so please tell us all about it. 

A: A lot! But these are all things we don't want to reveal for another 10 years or so (laughs).

Anni you are a organizational genius at cheese gang and we love you for that! Tell us how you would organize the perfect valentines day.

A: In my professional life I’d say my work is very thought through and detail-oriented but when it comes to my personal plans like on Valentines Day, I actually enjoy to be not so planned through. So, I think the perfect Valentines Day would look like this: No alarm, no responsibilities, no need to be anywhere at any special time. But I would really love to wake up next to Luca (smiles)

‍Wine and cheese is a perfect match, just like you two ;) Tell us about your favorite wine & cheese combos for a cozy date night.

A: For me it would be a cristally cheese like Gruyère to start with. And wine wise.. probably a good very dry mineral white wine.

S: I’d go with something we both never tried before, so we can judge together.

‍As we all know Anni you are crazy about the newest Restos in Berlin. Any hot recommendations for cheese gang readers?

‍A: Hmhmhm, let me think! I guess one of the best cheeses and cheese platters you will find at the Italian Restaurant Muret la Barba, near to Weinmeisterstraße. I just love everything about this place. They also offer a great wine consultation to whatever you choose to eat. Plus: They have the best olive oil I’ve ever tried in my life! This is def a must eat in Berlin.

Souly, your latest project is the infamous valentines package. Tell us all about it!

S: It was never planned to do so but while we were creating new songs for the Teufel Fallen EP, we tried out some things and I took my time when we ended up with way too many projects. I already listened to some songs so many times that I started listening to them in another context. I wanted to make sure that my listeners understand our work like we meant it, so with vday package I dropped some songs I didn’t wanted to join the Tape, but also didn’t wanted to be forgotten. The vday package is a collection to show my current state of art. Plus, two tapes in two weeks is a flex. 

‍In your song, “Gleiche alte Jeans” (same old jeans) you talk about the change of one person in a relationship while the partner wants to have the “old version” back. What does personal growth mean to you and do you believe in growing together or individually?

‍S: Thanks for listening (smiles) … somehow personal growth SHOULD be everything, growing together COULD. I guess the growth of the own self should never be blocked by anything but if the circumstances are right,  growing together is the base of a good, intense and trustful time.

Love is all you need, they say. We’d like to put cheese on the list as well. What would you two add as essentials for a happy life?

A: I could go deep here (laughs), but for now I’d say love, cheese and a safe space is all you need.

S: Pasta underneath the cheese, a good good friend in the tax office, Annie.

‍What’s the cheesiest pick up lines you ever had to face or even used?

S: We would be Gouda together. I googled this

A: I don’t remember.. And I’m pretty happy about that (laughs)

‍What would you guys put on a lovers cheese plattern and where would be the deal place to enjoy it?

A: I personally enjoy the combination of cheese and fruit and just a little range of different cheesy tastes. Add some tasty bread, some good oil and you’re good to go. And where to eat all that: In bed!

S: I’d put Annie on my cheese plattern and enjoy it where ever I could
